Much of the discussion on using America's abundant sources of fossil fuel energy has centered on the argument within scientific circles on Carbon Dioxide and it's effect of the climate. Al Gore famously said that the science is over and the time for writing laws restricting the use of fossil fuels has begun. America has enough fossil fuel to meet our energy needs for more than a hundred years. We need to know the real science so we are free to use oil as part of our energy future.

Many Democrats and Republicans have attended committee hearings on CO2 and have reached the conclusion that CO2 is dangerous and it will create furnace like temperatures which will destroy life as we know it. The Supreme Court even accepted the premise put forward by the EPA that CO2 was a pollutant.
